Highest quality aerial filming

To further illustrate our commitment to delivering the highest quality aerial filming we have invested in the latest file based HD recorder from Cinedeck. This amazing unit is capable of capturing the full quality of our Cineflex V14HD camera system in a wide range of frame rates and your choice of codec. The RX has been designed to improve on the Sony HDCAM SR format and with its compact size and range of codecs including uncompressed 4:4:4 recording it is a stunning success!

Highly versatile

The world’s most versatile, multi-format, multi-channel, HDSDI recorder specifically designed for outside broadcast and mobile production environments such as helicopters.

Hard disc recording�

The Cinedeck RX captures in native edit formats or uncompressed to high speed SSD media. With 2 drive bays the RX can accomodate� 4 SSD memory cards for high capacity of large HD video files. We supply the disc packs which are downloaded and backed up post flight before being copied to portable hard drive for customer distribution.

Record in the native codec of your edit

The Cinedeck RX records in the same codecs that your edit software uses and so imports straight into Avid and Final Cut Pro etc. Files can be created in either MXF or MOV in 8bit, 10bit and uncompressed.

Dual Recording

Unique "double dual-stream" feature provides simultaneous redundant file capture, each to a pair of disks with further flexibility to capture two channels at a time with one codec (multicam), each writing redundant disk copies simultaneously or capture one channel with two different codecs with redundant disk copies of each. (For example: 1 Avid DNxHD,1 Apple ProRes).

Uncompressed 444 (10-bit) or 422 (8 or 10-bit) recording.
