Fort George - Black Isle Helicopter Tour

As imposing as it is historic, this 18th century landmark is well worth experiencing by helicopter.

Shortly after take off, you will fly over Fort George before crossing the narrows between the fort and Chanonry point. Travelling along the Black Isle you will see the quaint fishing villages of Fortrose, Rosemarkie and Avoch before heading to Munlochy Bay. Continuing along the north shore of the Beauly firth and on towards the old priory town of Beauly, your trip will contain some of the finest scenery Scotland has to offer.

On the return leg of the journey you will pass over Beaufort Castle, Moniack Castle and winery before heading over the city of Inverness. From there, you'll fly over the historic Culloden Battlefield, the river Nairn and the Nairn Valley when you will pass the spectacular railway viaduct for memorable views of the Kilravock and Cawdor castles.
