Polytech Corona 350

The Polytech Corona 350 system is a gyro-stabilized ultra-violet aerial camera system.
This high technology system is totally unique to PDG Helicopters within the UK.

Housed inside the 4-axis Gyro-Stabilized turret is an Ofil DAYCOR Corona Discharge camera that is designed to see the Corona discharge caused by damaged or faulty electrical apparatus.

Our Corona system is nose mounted to any of our single or twin Squirrel helicopters and is supplied with an experienced Corona camera operator.

In addition, the Ofil DAYCOR camera sensor can be removed from the helicopter mounted gimbal and used hand held for ground based inspections, making this a very versatile system.
